QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

  • What happened to CO-OP Play?
    CO-OP and PvP are two modes that we still have in mind for X-Tactics but first we wanted to polish the core gameplay and change rules. CO-OP will be available from the “Command Center” menu. PvP will be available from the “Turf Wars” menu. Stay tuned.
  • Why did you remove the Pierce and Counter Mini-Games?
    When playing the game we’ve noticed that the tempo of the game could be improved to make the game feel more dynamic and responsive. When we weighed the pros and cons of the mini-games we realized that, when removing the mini games, we could move the focus more on positioning and tactical play. This line of thinking is something that we’ve incorporated in the entire game with the new update as you may notice when exploring the new menu system as well. We’re hoping that this will make the game feel more fast and fun as well as allowing us developer to find more interesting ways to challenge you, our players.
  • How is the Defense Mini-Game easier and why?
    Playing X-Tactics on an older device sometimes proved to be difficult as the performance was hindering players in the battle mini games. Along with improving the performance of the game, removing the attack pierce game, and now slightly widening the range of the “Perfect” area of the Defense Mini-Game. We’ve cut a lot of time from the battles while also making the game more fun to play for players on older devices.
